Yarnfield Village Green Public Consultation
The Parish Council has secured £16,800 to carry out a range of environmental improvements on Yarnfield Village Green.
The Parish Council’s aim is to make better use of the Village Green through environmental projects delivered and supported by the community.
Key to the plans will be that the improvements contribute to the health and wellbeing of all our residents and provide a place where nature can return to the heart of the parish.
High quality, regular grass cutting will still have its place, but it does not deliver the full potential of our green space. Local experts have suggested the sort of improvements that could work best; our project will be developed with the support of the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust and the Borough Council.
We plan to start the project in 2021.
We have now launched a public consultation and we would love to hear your views.
Let’s work together to achieve something positive and long-lasting that we can all be proud of.
Please return to the Parish Clerk by 6 October 2020:
